BOGOTA: Bogotá Reception at the El Dorado International Airport by an official employee, transfer airport - hotel. Hotel check in. Accommodation.
DAY 2.
BOGOTA: Breakfast, departure to the savannah of Bogotá to visit the Salt Cathedral in Zipaquira, a 180 meter underground carved in salt structure; Typical local food lunch, return to the hotel, free afternoon, accommodation.
DAY 3.
BOGOTA - CARTAGENA: Breakfast, check out and departure to visit the city of Bogota: Gold Museum, Botero Museum, walking tour about the Candelaria (colonial downtown area of the city), ascent to the hill of Monserrate, lunch and transfer to the airport to take a flight to the city of Cartagena; upon arrival, transfer from
airport to hotel. Hotel check in and accommodation.
DAY 4.
CARTAGENA: Breakfast, departure by car to the pier to take a speedboat for a 50 minute ride to the Rosario Islands, natural park in the middle of the Caribbean Sea; arrival to the island, free time to enjoy the beach, typical local food lunch. At 14:30 return by boat to Cartagena and transfer by car to the hotel. At night, you will enjoy a 30 minute drive around the fortified city (historic center of Cartagena), accommodation
DAY 5.
CARTAGENA: Breakfast, at noon, visit to the city of Cartagena, touring the Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas, the largest Spanish military building in the new world, walk around the fortified city, entrance to the Palace of the Inquisition, panoramic tour around the suburbs of Bocagrande, Castillogrande, and the republican borough of Manga, where you can see epochal mansions; lunch, return to the hotel, free afternoon and accommodation.
DAY 6.
CARTAGENA - SANTA MARTA: Breakfast, hotel check out and trip to the city of Santa Marta (about 3 hour overland journey), hotel check in. In the afternoon, visit to the city: Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, Tayrona Gold Museum,
Cathedral of Santa Marta, sightseeing tour around the bay and the touristic beaches of the city, return to the hotel,
accommodation.
DAY 7.
SANTA MARTA Breakfast, picnic at Tayrona National Park Cañaveral area, free time to walk around the park trails and enjoy the beach; Typical local food lunch, return to the hotel. Accommodation.
