Day 1

INTERNATIONAL ARRIVAL IN LIMA Arrival to Lima International airport, meeting with our assistant and transfer with private bus to the hotel, located in the residential district of Miraflores, few blocks away front the Pacific Ocean.
Overnight in the hotel.

Day 2


LIMA – CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport and flight to Cusco, the ancient capital of Inca Empire. Meeting with the guide at the airport and transfer to the Valley of Urubamba River, known as the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Stop in Awanacancha Andean Textiles Center where can be seen Alpacas, Guanacos, Lamas and Vicuñas. We continue our journey towards the colonial village of Pisaq where every day a large handicraft market takes place. In the past, Pisaq was an Incas village with more than 30 independent settlements spread out over the mountain slopes. Nowadays is possible to walk through the ruins  of them ancient settlement including a sun temple known as “Inti Huatana”. The view from the Sun Temple is an amazing and unforgettable experience. Afterward we continue to the hotel for your accommodation. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day 3


SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS – CHINCHERO – MARAS – OLLANTAYTAMBO – SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS Breakfast in the hotel. Excursion towards the Chinchero Highlands, from where we can enjoy an amazing view over the huge peaks of the Urubamba Range Mountains. The village of Chinchero is a typical agricultural Quechua settlement with people living a traditional Andean style of life. We continue toward the Salt Mines of Maras, the principal salt production center since Inca times, the white salt terraces are surrounded by snow-capped peaks overlooking the Valley. Driving till the village of Ollantaytambo, where we climb up to the top of the                huge fortress. The fortress and village represent some of the best of Inca architecture, with fine examples of beautifully carved polygonal stones and monumental rocks. At the end of this interesting day transfer back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day 4

SACRED VALLEY– MACHU PICCHU – AGUAS CALIENTES Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the Ollantaytambo train station to board our regular shared coach: Vistadome Class. We continue until Aguas Calientes where we arrive after 1 ½ hour. Upon arrival short bus transfer (20 minutes only) until getting the impressive archeological site of Machu Picchu, the lost city of the Incas discovered in 1911 by North American investigator Hiram Bingham. Guided tour around its several sectors to admire the wonderful Inca citadel, symbol of Peru and South America. Optional walk to visit the nearby ruins of Inti Punku or “The Sun Gate” on the East side of the main complex. Afternoon return by bus to Aguas Calientes. Walking transfer to our hotel for accommodation. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day 5


AGUAS CALIENTES – CUSCO Breakfast in the hotel. Morning at disposal for a second visit of Machu Picchu or for climbing the famous Huayna Picchu mountain. In the afternoon, you will board the most exclusive train service in Machu Picchu: Hiram Bingham. Enjoy of an amazing landscape from the Belvedere Coach and drink a Pisco Sour after these special days in Machu Picchu. Upon arrival in Poroy, transfer to your hotel locatedin downtown Cusco.
Dinner on board and overnight in the hotel.

Day 6


CUSCO Breakfast in the hotel. Morning sightseeing of Cusco city starting with Sacsayhuaman identified as a great sacred place, from where we enjoy a particular view of the Inca’s Capital. We continue with the visit of the historical centre, strolling through the elegant Plaza de Armas, surrounded by colonial buildings dominated by the majestic Cathedral. Guided tour of this colonial jewelry and visit of Koricancha or Sun god Temple, an important site of worship during Incas times. In the evening, dinner at the exclusive Map Café, located in main patio of the Precolumbian Art Museum (MAP) known by its very unique Andean fusion cuisine. Dinner in restaurant and overnight in the hotel.

Day 7


CUSCO - PUNO Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the train station and departure towards the city of Puno (450 km: 10 hours approx.). Panoramic stop at La Raya, which is also the highest point on the route (4,370 meters), in front of the magnificent view of Vilcanota Glacier. We continue the journey till the city of Puno, set on the shore of the huge Titicaca Lake. Upon arrival, meeting with our assistant and transfer to your hotel located in Chucuito Peninsola
(45min), for a lovely stay in one of the most special areas around the lake. Lunch on board. Dinner and overnight in the hotel

Day 8


TITILAKA Breakfast in the hotel. The best way to live the Lake Titicaca experience is from Titilaka. Choose the excursion you prefer between a very good selection of activities like: Kayak around the Hotel, Walking by the Shores of the Titicaca, The Aymara Sky and Constellations, also Visit to the Weaving Community of Copamaya, Exploration of the Chullpas of Sillustani, Visit to the Uros Floating Islands, Visit to the Authentic Taquile, among others. Lunch, dinner and overnight in the hotel

Day 9

TITILAKA – JULIACA – LIMA Breakfast in the hotel. Part of the day at leisure for choosing our last activity in this lovely place. At proper time, transfer to the airport of Juliaca (2 hours approx.) and flight back to Lima. Meeting with our assistance and transfer to your hotel. Lunch in hotel Titilaka. Overnight in hotel.

Day 10

LIMA Breakfast in the hotel. Morning visit of Lima city starting with its most famous plazas: Plaza San Martin and Plaza de Armas, where the city was founded by the Spanish conqueror Francisco Pizarro in 1535. Stop in the exclusive De Aliaga House, still occupied by the same family after 14 generations. Transfer to the Archeological Larco Museum to see the amazing collection composed of burial-offerings made by pre-Inca civilizations of Perú, textiles, clay sculptures and gold and silver jewelry. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in hotel.

Day 11

LIMA – IQUITOS – DELFIN II Breakfast in the hotel. In the morning, transfer to the airport and flight to Iquitos. Welcome at the airport and transfer (1 ½ hours) to heading northwest toward Nauta town. Upon arriving you will board the DELFIN. Be ready to visit remote Pacaya Samiria Reserve. On the top observation deck, our guides will conduct a brief orientation, outlining details of your journey, including the places, the wildlife, as well as a summary of the history and geography of the Amazon basin. Lunch on route. Dinner and overnight in Delfín II.

Day 12

DELFIN II Breakfast on board. During the dry season, you can visit the community of Yanallpa and explore two different kinds of ecosystems: flooded forest and terra firme forest. This walk affords excellent opportunities for spotting transitional species, see tall trees filled with epiphytes, woody vines and many varieties of palm trees. After an hour we’ll reach a lovely lagoon where two dugout canoes await us in the midst of one of the most remote, least visited areas in the world. This lagoon is filled with Paiche fish, the largest in the Amazon basin. We’ll also look for the Peculiar crested hoatzin bird. After lunch we will head for this spectacular spot within the Pacaya-Samiria Reserve In the skiffs, where you will also experience an unforgettable encounter with gray and pink river dolphins. Prehistoric looking iguanas laze in the sun while we travel along the shoreline searching for whatever the jungle has to offer us. Squirrel Monkeys are very active at this time of the day. Lunch, dinner and overnight in Delfin II.

Day 13

DELFIN II This morning we will start very early and breakfast onboard the skiffs, in order to see as much wildlife as possible. We have reached our main goal, the Pacaya River,the very     heart of the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. Anearly rise is very rewarding: you’ll see parrots, macaws,toucans, kingfishers, black collared hawks,southern swallows, white winged swallows, and manikins. You’ll alsosee troops of squirrel monkeys. After breakfast, we will start navigating back down the Puinahua River towards Nauta.Hiking at Atun Poza passing through a classic tropical rainforest with emergent trees and canopy trees reachingup to 55 meters in height. Our target is the giant ceiba or kapok tree with its large diameter. If we’re lucky we’ll alsosee giant otters. Back aboard the Delfin II.Lunch, dinner and overnight in Delfín II.

Day 14

DELFIN II – IQUITOS – LIMA – INTERNATIONAL DEPARTURE Breakfast on board. Early in the morning, on board our skiffs we will stop at the village of Puerto Miguel to meet local villagers. You will have the chance to learn about their culture, traditions and folklore. After visiting the village, wewill explore the Yarapa River, where there’s a good chance that you’ll see squirrel and capuchin monkeys, herons, egrets and green iguanas.

We will continue sailing downstream to the confluence of the Ucayali and the Marañon, birthplace of the Amazon River. We will disembark at our port in Nauta, where a bus will be waiting to take you back to Iquitos. Quick stop in Manatee Rescue Center. It will allow you to see from up close these beautiful creatures, touch them and even feed them a bottle of milk if you would like. Arrive at Iquitos Airport and assistance for your next flight to Lima, and international flight departure.
